Apple’s latest iOS 18.3 update has been released for iPhones, introducing new features and important security enhancements. It was launched on January 27, aiming to enhance Apple’s technologies and tackle existing bugs.
Key Highlights
The update includes noteworthy improvements in Visual Intelligence for iPhone 16 users. This feature now automates the addition of events to your calendar from images, such as posters or flyers, and enhances recognition of plants and animals. Due to inaccuracies in news summaries, Apple has temporarily suspended notification summaries for News & Entertainment apps.
Bug Fixes
- The Calculator app once again supports repeat operations, a feature that was missing in earlier iOS 18 versions.
- Issues with the disappearing keyboard during Siri requests have been corrected.
- Audio playback glitches in Apple Music are also fixed.
To mark Black History Month, the update offers Black Unity wallpapers for all users. You can download iOS 18.3 by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update on your device. Ensure you have a compatible model, such as the iPhone 15 Pro, Pro Max, or the iPhone 16 series, to fully leverage the new Apple Intelligence features.
