The latest Tesla software update, version 2024.45.25.5, has caused significant issues by rendering several Cybertruck models non-operational, an issue commonly referred to as “bricking.” This development has left many owners stranded with vehicles that simply refuse to start. Compounding the problem, the new HW4 onboard computer system in various Tesla models, including the Model 3 and Model Y, is also experiencing breakdowns.

Reports suggest that the HW4 computer might be short-circuiting, particularly during the camera calibration process. This malfunction affects essential features such as GPS functionality. As a result, Tesla service centers are extremely busy, with technicians working tirelessly to reset and reinstall software in an attempt to revive the vehicles.
